Dr. H.S. Anupama is a Kannada poet, writer, and medical doctor. She practises in Kavalakki, Honnavar taluk, Uttara Kannada district. Alongside medicine she has published widely: five poetry collections, including Kaadu Hakkiya Haadu, Sahagamana, Buddha Charite, Negeva Paadada Jigita, and Sabarmati; story collections such as Hoovaraliddakke Yaake Sakshi? and Covid: Doctor Diary; and several short biographies, among them lives of B.R. Ambedkar, Kasturba Gandhi, and Bhagat Singh. She has also written medical and cultural essays. Her books number about fifty-three, including translations and edited volumes. She received the Karnataka Sahitya Akademi book prize (2013) and other literary honours.

డా. హెచ్.ఎస్. అనుపమ కన్నడ కవయిత్రి, రచయిత్రి, వృత్తిరీత్యా వైద్యురాలు. ఉత్తర కన్నడ జిల్లా హొన్నావర తాలూకా కవలక్కిలో వైద్యం చేస్తూ సాహిత్యం రాస్తున్నారు. ఐదు కవితా సంపుటులు ప్రచురించారు. కాడు హక్కియ హాడు, సహగమన, బుద్ధ చరితె, నెగెవ పాదద జిగిత, సబరమతి. కథా సంపుటులు: హూవరళిద్దక్కె యాకె సాక్షి?, కోవిడ్: డాక్టర్ డైరీ మొదలైనవి. బి.ఆర్. అంబేడ్కర్, కస్తూర్బా గాంధీ, భగత్ సింగ్‌ల సంక్షిప్త జీవిత చరిత్రలు కూడా రాశారు. వైద్య, సాంస్కృతిక వ్యాసాలు, అనువాదం, సంపాదకత్వాలతో కలిపి సుమారు 53 గ్రంథాలు ప్రచురించారు. 2013లో కర్ణాటక సాహిత్య అకాడమీ అందుకున్నారు.
