Dr. Pragathi Madur is a Telugu short story writer and poet, and Principal of K.S.N. Government Degree College for Women (Autonomous), Anantapur. She holds a doctorate in Chemistry. A lover of literature since childhood, she began writing poetry in her teens and turned to short fiction in 2013. She has published two short story collections, Koyila Chettu and Konni Cheekatloo… O Veluthuroo!, and a poetry collection, Neelakurinji Samudram. She also edited Mungaru Molakalu, an anthology of stories by women writers from Anantapur district.

డాక్టర్ ప్రగతి తెలుగు కథా రచయిత్రి, కవయిత్రి. రసాయన శాస్త్రంలో డాక్టరేట్ పొందిన ఆమె ప్రస్తుతం అనంతపురంలోని కె.ఎస్.ఎన్. ప్రభుత్వ మహిళా డిగ్రీ కళాశాల (స్వయంప్రతిపత్తి) ప్రిన్సిపాల్‌గా పనిచేస్తున్నారు. బాల్యం నుంచే సాహిత్యంపై మక్కువ పెంచుకున్న ఆమె, కౌమార దశలోనే కవిత్వం రాయడం మొదలుపెట్టి, 2013లో కథా రచనలోకి అడుగుపెట్టారు. ‘కోయిల చెట్టు’, ‘కొన్ని చీకట్లూ… ఓ వెలుతురూ!’ కథా సంపుటాలు, ‘నీలకురింజి సముద్రం’ కవితా సంపుటి ప్రచురించారు. అనంతపురం జిల్లా మహిళా రచయిత్రుల కథలతో వెలువడిన ‘ముంగారు మొలకలు’ సంకలనానికి సంపాదకత్వం వహించారు.
