Nandini Sidda Reddy is an eminent Telangana poet, writer, songwriter, lyricist, social activist, and academic. Celebrated for his works written in the distinct Telangana dialect, his literature closely captures the culture, struggles, and lives of rural communities. He was a pivotal cultural leader in the Telangana statehood movement. Following the formation of the state, he served as the first Chairman of the Telangana Sahitya Akademi and achieved national acclaim by winning the prestigious Sahitya Akademi Award for his poetry collection "Animesha".
