Akkiraju Bhattiprolu is a Telugu writer, translator and literary commentator. He is the author of the short story collection Moodu Beerla Tharavata (After Three Beers), co-edited Kotha Katha 2017, an anthology of emerging Telugu short story writers, and translated South vs North: India's Great Divide into Telugu as Uttara Dakshinaalu. He has contributed to online Telugu literary platforms for more than three decades. Originally from the Bhadrachalam region of Telangana, he worked as a software engineer in the United States before returning to India, and his experience in technology, entrepreneurship and multicultural environments continues to shape his literary perspective.

అక్కిరాజు భట్టిప్రోలు తెలుగు రచయిత, అనువాదకులు, సాహిత్య వ్యాఖ్యాత. ఆయన కథా సంపుటి ‘మూడు బీర్ల తర్వాత’. ‘సౌత్ వర్సెస్ నార్త్: ఇండియాస్ గ్రేట్ డివైడ్’ పుస్తకాన్ని ‘ఉత్తర దక్షిణాలు’ పేరుతో తెలుగులోకి అనువదించారు. కొత్త తరం తెలుగు కథకుల సంకలనం ‘కొత్త కథ 2017’కు సహ సంపాదకత్వం వహించారు. ముప్పై ఏళ్లకు పైగా ఆన్‌లైన్ తెలుగు సాహిత్య వేదికల్లో చురుగ్గా రాస్తున్నారు. తెలంగాణలోని భద్రాచలం ప్రాంతానికి చెందిన ఆయన, అమెరికాలో సాఫ్ట్‌వేర్ ఇంజినీరుగా పనిచేసి భారతదేశానికి తిరిగి వచ్చారు. సాంకేతికత, వ్యాపార రంగం, భిన్న సంస్కృతుల మధ్య ఆయన అనుభవాలు ఇప్పటికీ ఆయన సాహిత్య దృక్పథాన్ని తీర్చిదిద్దుతున్నాయి.
