P. Sathyavathi is a Telugu short story writer from Kolakaluru in Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh. A postgraduate in English literature, she taught English in Vijayawada until her retirement, with short fiction as her lifelong passion. Her stories have earned several prestigious awards, and she is the only Telugu writer to have received the Kuvempu National Award.
