Mittapalli Surender, is a Telugu poet, folk and film lyricist, and singer. Raised in an agricultural family near Warangal, he began writing in his early twenties; his first recorded song was Navamasalu Mosina Thalli. His folk-rooted verses became part of the public voice of the Telangana movement; songs such as Janani Janani Jai Telangana and Rathibommallona Koluvaina Shivuda (used in Poru Telangana, Nandi Award, 2011) are widely known. He has written hundreds of songs, including film lyrics for Rajanna, George Reddy, Love Story and Raju Weds Rambai. He runs Mittapalli Studio to support new artists and received the Maa Bhoomi award in 2026.

మిట్టపల్లి సురేందర్, తెలుగు కవి, జానపద, సినీ గేయరచయిత, గాయకుడు. వరంగల్ ప్రాంతంలో రైతు కుటుంబంలో పెరిగి ఇరవైల ప్రాయంలో రాయడం ప్రారంభించారు; "నవమాసలు మోసిన తల్లి." ఆయన మొదటి రికార్డెడ్ పాట. జానపద సంప్రదాయంతో నిండిన ఆయన పాటలు తెలంగాణ ఉద్యమ ప్రజా గొంతుకల్లో భాగమయ్యాయి. జననీ జననీ జై తెలంగాణ, రాతిబొమ్మల్లోన కొలువైన శివుడా (పోరు తెలంగాణ, నంది పురస్కారం, 2011) వంటి పాటలు విస్తృతంగా ప్రసిద్ధిగాంచాయి. రాజన్న, జార్జ్ రెడ్డి, లవ్ స్టోరీ, రాజు వెడ్స్ రాంబాయి సహా అనేక సినిమాలకు వందల పాటలు రాశారు. కొత్త కళాకారుల కోసం మిట్టపల్లి స్టూడియో నడుపుతున్నారు. 2026లో మా భూమి పురస్కారం అందుకున్నారు.
