Desapati Srinivas, is a Telugu poet, lyricist, folk singer and cultural voice of Telangana. He holds an M.A. in Telugu Literature and began his career as a schoolteacher. His songs and verses, rooted in folk tradition and regional memory, became part of the public life of the Telangana movement; he is widely known for his renditions of anthems such as "Nageti Saallala Na Telangana." His published work includes the song collection "Jaya Jayosthu Telangana." He has long been associated with Telugu language promotion and cultural programmes, and currently serves as a Member of the Telangana Legislative Council.

దేశపతి శ్రీనివాస్, తెలుగు కవి, గేయరచయిత, గాయకుడు, తెలంగాణ సాంస్కృతిక స్వరం. తెలుగు సాహిత్యంలో ఎం.ఎ. పూర్తి చేసి ఉపాధ్యాయుడిగా జీవితం ప్రారంభించారు. జానపద సంప్రదాయం, ప్రాంతీయ జ్ఞాపకాలతో నిండిన ఆయన పాటలు, పద్యాలు తెలంగాణ ఉద్యమ ప్రజాజీవితంలో భాగమయ్యాయి. "నాగేటి సాళ్ళల్లా నా తెలంగాణ" వంటి పాటలను ఆయన పాడటం వలన ప్రసిద్ధికెక్కాయి. "జయ జయోస్తు తెలంగాణ" పాటల పుస్తకం ప్రచురించారు. తెలుగు భాషా ప్రచారం, సాంస్కృతిక కార్యక్రమాలతో అనుబంధం ఉన్న ఆయన ప్రస్తుతం తెలంగాణ శాసనమండలి సభ్యుడు.
