Abdul Waheed

Abdul Waheed is a journalist, poet, translator, and writer with rich experience in reputed media organizations such as Geeturaaya Weekly, Samskruthi TV, HMTV, and Studio N. A prolific translator, he has rendered several works from Urdu, English, and Hindi into Telugu, including the Sahitya Akademi publication “Nirmāṇavādam, Nirmāṇōttaravādam – Prāchya Kāvyashāstram.

His notable books include Shayar-e-Telangana: Makhdoom Mohiuddin, Socialist Sufi: Faiz Ahmed Faiz, Mattakokila, Dhoolichettu, and Gazal. Many of his forthcoming works explore poets like Sahir Ludhianvi, Kazi Nazrul Islam, and Ghalib, alongside studies on culture, politics, and history of Rayalaseema.
