 
      Spoorthy Kandivanam
Spoorthy Kandivanam is a contemporary Telugu writer celebrated for her evocative storytelling. A postgraduate in Biotechnology, she began her literary journey in 2019 and has written over 30 short stories and three novels, with some works also in English. Her debut novel Chaitra won the Telangana Saraswata Parishattu Yuva Puraskaram and the Ampasayya Naveen Literary Trust Award. Her acclaimed short stories, including Dimki, Musuru, Cheekati Velugulu, and Kismat, have appeared in prominent journals and anthologies. Her first short story collection Dimki (2023) received the Kandikonda Ramaswamy National Award and Dr. Vedagiri Rambabu Kathanika Award.
