Kathyayani

Kathyayani is a writer, translator, and critic with a Ph.D. in Literature from the University of Hyderabad. She began her career in journalism and has since contributed widely to magazines with literary and non-literary essays. A prolific translator, she has rendered over twenty-five fiction and non-fiction works from English into Telugu, introducing readers to authors such as Roger Garaudy, James Petras, Khalil Gibran, Harper Lee, Richard Wright, Ganesh N. Devy, Uma Chakravarty, Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay, Ram Puniyani, and Sara Abubakar. Alongside translation, she has authored original works, enriching Telugu literature with her literary depth and cultural engagement.
