Prof. Vangari Triveni

Prof. Vangari Triveni is a distinguished Telugu scholar, writer, and educator, currently serving in the Department of Telugu at Hyderabad Central University. Overcoming early hardships, she pursued higher education through distance learning and rose to prominence in literary criticism, classical and modern Telugu literature, linguistics, and Sanskrit studies. She has authored, edited, and translated 41 books, including critical monographs, anthologies, and historical studies of Telangana literature. Triveni has supervised numerous Ph.D. scholars, published over 100 research articles, and presented at national and international literary conferences. Recipient of the Maharshi Badarayana Vyas Samman (2019) and over 35 state, national, and regional awards, she is celebrated for her lifelong contributions to Telugu literature, culture, and scholarship.
