G Venkata Krishna

G. Venkata Krishna is a poet, storyteller, and critic, a creative voice that emerged from Rayalaseema. So far, he has published five poetry collections, two long poems, three short story collections, and one volume of essays. Beginning his journey as a writer, he has more recently gained recognition as a literary critic. Whether in creation or criticism, his work is deeply influenced and shaped by progressive thought. While rooted in the Marxist tradition, he also engages with Dalit-Bahujan perspectives. In today’s context of rising soft fascism, he envisions the uniting of Laal and Neel - socialist and Dalit-Bahujan struggles - as a way forward.
