 
      Dr. Sangishetti Srinivas
Dr. Sangishetti Srinivas, is a distinguished Telugu writer, editor, and scholar whose work has been central to the revival and study of Telangana literature. Born in 1965 in Raghunathapur, Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri district, he emerged as a key figure in the Telangana literary and student movements, notably participating in the 1991 black-flag protest against Andhra Pradesh formation.
A pioneering researcher and editor, Srinivas has brought early Telangana writers like Kuppambika, Bhanda Acha Mamba, and Suramulu to contemporary attention. He has compiled and edited seminal works including Padugu Pekalu, Dastram, Telangana Navala Charitra, Kathathma, and over 80 publications under Kavile – Telangana Research and Referral Center. His literary output spans poetry, short stories, Dalit literature, and critical essays, alongside historical and cultural research. Notable works include Hyderabad Sirf Hamara, Phule Jeevitha Charitra, and Dalit Katha Samputam.
Currently Assistant Professor at Malakajgiri Government Degree College, Srinivas also edits Subaltern magazine, continuing to champion marginalized voices and advance scholarship in Telangana literature.
